Interests

Electronics A big interest of mine is electronics. This has been a big help in my work with drama groups and I also hold the position of Chief engineer at B1000 the university's student radio station.
Lights and Sound I have been helping out with the drama productions by Thomas Becket School and The Northants Music Theatre School. My interest centres around the sound and lighting area of productions. I have helped out in over 30 productions including:
  • A Midsummer Night's Dream (May 1999)
  • Oklahoma (April 1996)
  • The Vackees (January 1996)
  • Dazzle (March 1995)
  • West Side Story (June 1994)

As well as work in theater I have also have done lighting, sound or video for various bands and events, including;

  • Chicane, Dario G, Pied Piper, DJ Luck and MC Neat, Lady Dynamite, River
  • Over 15 balls in 1000+ capacity venues.
  • Over 250 smaller events ranging for small Discos to large bands and DJs.
  • Part of the team responsible for winning the 1999 Carlsberg Comedy Network venue of the year.
  • The Southern Comfort Battle Of The Bands 1999 (area final, regional final and the national final)
Radio During my time at Brunel University I was heavily involved with the Student Union's Radio Station, B1000. During this time I had a regular show and spent two years on the station executive, one as Chief Engineer and one as Station Manager. Projects I was involved with include the initial setup of the live network streaming system, rebuilding both of the studios and the relocation of the station.
Design I designed the programme for Thomas Becket's production of 'Dazzle' and the Wellingborough Youth Theatre production of 'Vackees'.
